While not the cheapest of cooking oils, it has the highest smoke point of any oil, which makes it ideal for sauteing or frying over high heat. It's also a good salad oil. It has an almost neutral flavour and has no cholesterol. Use in place of peanut oil or any frying oil used for high temp cooking.
